Editorial policy
Bright Music Review aims to make music writing clear, careful and independent in its judgement. We explain our reasoning, correct errors openly and identify material created with commercial partners.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check factual statements against reliable material available to us and distinguish those statements from critical interpretation. When a point is uncertain or contested, we say so rather than presenting one reading as settled fact.
Independence
Editorial choices and conclusions belong to Bright Music Review. A commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage, and partners do not receive control over independent editorial decisions.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or an important omission, contact us through the Contact page with the article title and a clear description of the issue. We review correction requests and amend published wording when warranted.
Partner material and illustrations
Articles or placements made with a commercial partner are clearly labelled so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; where relevant, their captions or accompanying text will say so.
Attention changes the way we hear
Bright Music Review treats listening as an active pleasure. A closer look at one musical choice can open up a whole song.
